HOUSTON (May 2, 2002) Power Temp Systems, Inc. was selected to be the supplier of portable power distribution equipment at Denver’s newest concert hall – City Lights Pavilion, a 5,500 reserved-seat “boutique” outdoor amphitheater that covers more than 2 acres on the grounds of the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. Power Temp Systems, Inc. has an established track record of providing portable electrical equipment for some of the largest events and most demanding venues. During this the inaugural season (mid-June thru the end of September) it is projected that over 150,000 attendees will experience a variety of musical acts in Denver’s newest concert venue. During the off-season the entire venue will be dismantled (including the nearly 80 feet high fiberglass tent) and stored until the next season.

Power Temp Systems, Inc. worked in conjunction with the customer’s electrical engineer and contractor for the project to design a system of UL Listed weatherproof portable power distribution panels to supply reliable temporary electric power to everything on site. From inception through to power being provided to the end user, Power Temp Systems, Inc. is there each and every step of the way.
The areas that required electrical power included multiple food and beverage concession stands, souvenir stands, artist dressing trailers, and critical power for the stage lighting and sound systems. In order to meet this demanding challenge a network of ninety-seven (97) custom-built portable power distribution panels and cable assemblies ranging in capacity from 30 amps thru 400 amps were assembled to distribute a total of over 6,900 amps of temporary electrical power throughout the entire venue. In addition this network of panels and cable assemblies will allow the operators of the venue to quickly adapt to any last minute changes that may be required to accommodate a specific performance or event.
